What do the LED lights mean?

- 1.
LED — Displays the status of the router.
- 2.
LED Off — No power.
- 3.
LED Solid Red — Power on, no internet connection.
- 4.
LED Solid Orange/Yellow — Factory reset in progress / firmware upgrade in progress / initial start-up.
- 5.
LED Solid Blue — Firmware protection mode / fatal software or hardware error.
- 6.
LED — Displays the status of the broadband connection to the router.
- 7.
LED Off — No sync with exchange, no DSL connection detected.
- 8.
LED Flashing Green — No sync with exchange, DSL connection detected, attempting to gain sync.
- 9.
LED Solid Green — In sync with exchange.
- 10.
LED — Displays the status of the Internet connection to the router.
- 11.
LED Off — No PPP, not attempting to gain PPP.
- 12.
LED Flashing Red — Sync detected, attempting to gain PPP (attempting to authenticate).
- 13.
LED Solid Red — Connected, authentication has been denied (suspended, incorrect username/password).
- 14.
LED Solid Green — Connected, authenticated successfully.
- 15.
LED Flashing Green — Connected, authenticated successfully, data transferring to internet.
- 16.
Phone LED — Displays the status of the phone line in to the router.
- 17.
LED Off — Telephony is turned off.
- 18.
LED Solid Green — Telephony is enabled.
- 19.
Wi-Fi/ Wireless LED — Display the status of the wireless network.
- 20.
Wi-Fi/ Wireless LED Off — Wi-Fi switched off.
- 21.
Wi-Fi/ Wireless LED Solid green — Wi-Fi is switched on.
- 22.
WPS LED Orange — When WPS button is pressed. Orange indicates searching for connections via WPS.
- 23.
WPS LED Flashing Green — Flashing green indicates successful connection via WPS.
- 24.
WPS LED Flashing Red — Flashing red indicates an unsuccessful connection via WPS.
After an unsuccessful connection the LED will flash run and then turn off.
