What do the ONT LED lights mean?

- 1. Power OFF — The ONT has no power supply. Check the mains connection is plugged in and switched on.
- 2. Power Green — The ONT is powered on.
- 3. LOS — OFF and PON — ON — Broadband service is connected to the exchange and the line is clear.LOS = Loss of Signal. PON = Passive Optical Network
- 4. LOS — OFF and PON — Flashing Green — Establishing link to the Exchange. When connected PON will turn solid Green.LOS = Loss of Signal. PON = Passive Optical Network
- 5. LOS — RED and PON — RED — Optical link not establish or possible fault. Check the optical cable is connected and not damaged. Turn the ONT off and back on again.LOS = Loss of Signal. PON = Passive Optical Network
- 6. LOS — Flickering Red — There is Data Loss. Turn the ONT off and back on again.LOS = Loss of Signal.
- 7. LAN — OFF — No Ethernet cable is connected or recognised.LAN = Local Area Network
- 8. LAN — Green — Ethernet cable is connected.LAN = Local Area Network
- 9. LAN — Flickering Green — Data is being transferred via Ethernet.LAN = Local Area Network
