Broadband Issues (Non Full Fibre)

Follow the steps to help fix issues such as: No Connection, Intermittent Connection, Slow Speeds (Ethernet), web pages not loading:
- 1. Confirm the router has power by checking the Status light is on.
- 2. Check all cables and connections are plugged in correctly and securely.If you have no power try an alternative power supply.
- 3. Check the router is setup correctly.For more information, see the Router Quick Setup (Non Full Fibre) topic.

Factory reset the router with the pin hole on the back.
For more information see the Factory Reset Router (reset button) topic. - 5. Remove the faceplate of the BT Master socket (held in either by screws or clips)
- 6. If the test socket is present, plug a microfilter into the test socket.
- 7. Plug the router into the micro filter and check your connection.If the issue is resolved, the faceplate is the cause of the fault. Replacement faceplates can be purchased from many high street or online retailers.
- 8. Try replacing the micro filter, the DSL cable and Ethernet cable.If the problems continues, please contact an Origin Broadband representative.
